I don't understand, why he is drawing all matches, he drew all his five matches. How he will win the title, if he don't win games. 

Well, there's this 2010 business of defending his title  against a player who is monitoring his every move from afar.   Given how close he might be to retirement, I'd think he'd prefer to keep his cards (NEW opening prep/novelties) close to his chest and just enjoy the tournament ... defending the title ONE MORE TIME would be a bigger priority than going all out like Shirov here. (Assuming anyone can! :))

He has enough fans and doesn't need to win more by being a risk-taking showman here.

I am big fan of Anand and i saw all his game in corus, one thing i notice was that he is playing lot of sacrificing moves; like going 2 pawns down ( he did that against short), of course he gain those pawn again. I think he is trying new technique or moves or some of his plan, just my guess 

Well he told in Indian media that he will decide after 4 yrs about retirement...before that no thoughts on retirement
