Anand Hopes to Have Chess as Olympic Sport

    Here is an interesting article where Anand discusses the possibility of Chess as an Olympic sport:

    Newly crowned World Champion Anand says "Hopefully some time in the near future chess would make it as a regular Olympic discipline".

     

    Maybe if big name players such as Vishwanathan Anand and others approached the Olympic committee their voices would be heard and more consideration would be given to it.
