Here is an article about a man who has attempted to murder 64 people, one for each square of the chess board. He is called the "Chess board killer" because of this. When his home was searched police found a chess board with numbers attached to 62 squares of the 64 squares on the chess board. The man was only charged with 49 murders but it is feared the number could have been over 60.
