Here is a news article about a lawsuit over the USCF executive board elections:

In this lawsuit, Sam Sloan one of the candidates from the recent elections is saying that Paul Truong and Susan Polgar have attacked him with false statements over the internet. He is asking for a re-election and punitive damages.

Both Susan Polgar and Paul Truong deny any activity as claimed by Mr. Sloan.

What's new? Sam Sloan always believes someone's conspiring against him.

As paranoid as Sloan is, In this case, it's true that someone really has been posting stuff all over Usenet in his name for quite some time. Apparently, Paul Truong has been accused of being responsible for this, due to someone at USCF showing that it came from the same IP address that he uses to post to the USCF forums. However, it's more likely that someone was spoofing his IP address to frame him, so I doubt if Sloan's law suit will go anywhere.
