Here is a news article about FIDE president Kirsan Ilyumzhinov and his push to bring chess into the Olympics by suing the IOC:
http://www.worldgames-iwga.org/vsite/vcontent/content/transnews/0,10869,1044-16941-19728-4769-280357-12500-889-layout08-18091-news-item,00.html
What do you think? Should the FIDE president go to this extreme to try to get chess into the Olympic games or should we work out a more civilized way of persuading the Olympic committe and the world?

Kirsan Ilyumzhinov is a crazy guy, that's all I'm going to say.
Yes, there are better ways to get chess into the Olympics...suing is not the answer.
My one wish for high level chess is that it would be appreciated more in America.....like the way Europeans view chess.
