To refer to the oft mooted question, "Which piece is stronger, the Bishop or the Knight?" it is clear that the value of the Bishop undergoes greater changes than that of the Knight. - Emanuel Lasker

The castle is more powerful than a horse, percentage 70

But of all pieces the King has the highest percentage.

    The pawn only has 1%

I would say 70-30 on favor of Knight. Example, King has to move when it is checked by a knight. where as it can defend when done by a bishop. Knight is always powerful compare to Bishop.

    2 knights can't mate 2 bishops can.

u need to corner the king for that.. With the help of king, 2 knights can also mate.

In most cases Knights are far superior than bishop.

This is such great news!!!! Jeffrey47, thanks a lot, I will be sure to trade all my knights in all my currently running games for bishops. Anyone who doesn't read this thread is in for a big surprise!

When it comes to ordaining new priests, or presiding over a First Communion, the Bishop is stronger than the Knight 65% - 35%

Really? God, read any book on chess strategy and it will tell you how strong the bishop pair is. The knight pair on the other hand, isn't so great.

Although, if the only pieces (excluding pawns) are a Queen + Knight  vs.  Queen + Bishop I would go with the Queen + Knight because you can work together to control any color, whereas the Queen + Bishop can only control a certain color together.

Knights are more usefull then bishops.
When the knight falls down, it stays on it's side. While if the bishop falls it will start rolling and it can fall of the table.
