You knew kabayan my son Jerome Macatangay is a champion in LCBA Calamba elementary and High school .i tarined him coz im living in Acacia Park Homes in Calamba Laguna and living in mayapa.Now He is apalyer in Perpetual Calamba college of nursing a3rd yr College.Hope you meet him,he is living now in Ceris Calamba ,laguna.Im now in Khobar Saudi Arabia still a chess fanatic.God bless.

i left chess 18 yrs ago and lately i started to fell in love with it again.. i play club games and been in collegiate competitions during college days..(varsity player). its good if someone would inform us of tournament schedules so we could join...il keep track of this also..more power..

why don't we organize one?
Hi chess is my passion, I started learning chess at 15 and started joining local chess tournaments. Im also board one varsity player in college where i ended up graduating with 6medals all because of chess i also became the player of the year because of my top wins overall but that was long time ago haha. Im planning to organize a chess club in laguna in the near future. Im thinking of running chess tournament every week. we will invite some rated players to conduct simul exhibitions and lectures. This will be open to all ages. Id like to see especially young kids play and think like mature players. Anybody who is interested please dont hesitate to post specially those residing in laguna philipppines. i hope this will materialize in the near future. God bless.
