WTF File? You don't need any files. Just get the app. All games are included in the app. You will get app updates on regularly which will include database updates to include latest games. These updates may come on monthly or biweekly basis.

I think they're free...and worth every penny!

XFiles are better.

What is the difference between the editions?

1.2 million games cannot be loaded by one application. We split the database into three. 1st contains games from 1998-2004, 2nd from 2005-2008, third from 2009- to date. No other difference.

all I need now is something that can download an app, whatever that is.

iTunes does the downloading, then you sync it to your iPad / iPhone.
