Vietnam hosts 2008 World Youth event

    It was recently announced that the 2008 World Youth Event will be held in Vietnam. The event is expected to draw 1,000 chess players from just about 100 countries.

    I think it is great to see big chess events such as this being held in lesser known chess countries to bring good chess exposure to these regions which need it.
