I have got a Babas/Toga setup for game analysis, it works nicely, except that it will only display the one move that it makes is best, I can't find any way to make it display a list of alternative moves. Did I miss a setting, or do I need to find another frontend, and in that case which?

I've never heard of Babas but with Scid you're able to analyse multiple variations. Of course there are dozens of chargeable options but this one is free and works quite well. Also ChessBase can do that. You also have to be sure that your Toga can count multiple variations at the same time.

Thanks, from what I have read the free version of ChessBase Light won't allow me to edit board positions, I need that. Scid has pretty much got what I want, though it makes errors in the moves list order when the different moves have been calculated to different depths, and the interface feels a bit so-so. Overall it is definitely an improvement, but I'd still like to know of any eventual alternatives.
