Does anyone have any info on where I could buy such a neat pocket-sized set similar to the one "The Man" himself used to carry around like the Holy Bible? It would be a really great thing to have. Google doesn't seem to be bringing up anything useful..

Thanks to all. That one looks perfect Goldendog. Over 30$ is a bit expensive but I can see this as staying with me for years so I may as well get good quality. I think I'll get the other one DeepGreene suggested as well as a spare, because it's so cheap if not the best quality..

It reminds me the most of the one Fischer was using in the clip that is in 'Searching For Bobby Fischer'.

 This one is my favorite.  I wish the 7 1/4" metal travel one came with pieces like this.

Yup the chessmate magnetic sets are the best in terms of quality, and they come in a variety of form factors.

If one's heart is set on a chess wallet that uses slots instead of magnets you'll have to look elesewhere. Ditto for peg sets (which I like).
