I as an aspiring chess player am on the hunt to find good chess books to help me improve. I have roughly 35 dollars to spend and came up with the two books Silmans complete engame course by Silman
And
600 practical chess exercises
What do you think of my decisions.(ps i havent placed my order yet and any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.)Here is a game of mine I would like to show off.
Issis
Here, this article by IM Silman should help:

Good luck!

I used the article that Issis linked above when planning my book purchases, and so far I have been very pleased with the results for the amount of money spent. Of the books mentioned in the article, there are 3 that I would absolutely get, of differing importance based on your skill.
1. The Amateur's Mind by IM Silman - I think this book is fantastic, it is a wonderful introduction into reading board imbalances, planning, and positional play.
2. Winning Chess Tactics by GM Seirawan - This tactics book is clear and straightforward, familiarity with tactical patterns is especially important when you are just beginning to seriously study chess, as many of the opening/positional concepts are built around the basic tactical weapons.
3. Complete Endgame Course by IM Silman - Excellent breakdown of endgames. Very clear, and the organization of study material by rating helps you pace yourself and balance your study time with other aspects of the game. Endgame strength will set you apart from a lot of people in your rating group very quickly.
