Hi,

I'm reading David Pritchard's "The Right Way to Play Chess", which requires the reader to place pieces in certain positions on the board in order to illustrate tactics. I don't always have a board with me but I'm usually near my Macbook and iPhone. Can anyone recommend a Macbook or iPhone chess program (or a website) that allows random placement of pieces?

Stockfish app is free for iPhone . So is shredder lite. They let you do this
