Completed my chessboard

I completed my chessboard tonight.  While it has plenty of mistakes in it, I am proud of the result.

very cool! i'm so jealous. one of my life goals is to create my own set - build a board like that and also turn/carve my own pieces. sweeeeet!

Hey, congrats and thanks for sharing. That is a great accomplishment.

Many people say that everyone in their lifetime should write a book, or paint a self-portrait (build a house.. etc). I would put this up there in my book. Quite inspiring actually.

today when i was sleeping my dream was about making a chessbord! maybe i should try to make one too.

(dreaming about making a chessboard.... maybe i've played to much chess lately)

That is a great looking chessboard. I think you are the only one "seeing" any flaws.
