DGT North American Chess Clock

Any reviews on in the forum of the DGT North American chess clock?  I'm thinking of upgrading (downgrading) my sturdy Chronos, or perhaps buying one of these in addition to it.  Particularly, I'm interested in the sturdiness of that plastic rocker arm for blitz and time-pressure.

Why not just stick to your Chronos? I have a Chronos FX Touch and it's a dream.

I have the GX Touch and its a bit heavy for my tastes.  That said, I don't want to trade weight for durability.

Well I think the weight is great, it's very good for stability. Lighter clocks can get knocked down more easily. I have quite a few other clocks including a DGT 2010, don't know how that compares with the American Version but from what I can tell it's better and still I wouldn't trade it for my chronos. But DGT make excellent clocks.

    Hi...

I really liked the sleek look of the DGT 2010. Since the DGT North American is only about $45, I might invest in one to try it out (while keeping the Chronos) and plop it back on eBay if I don't like it. Thanks for the feedback!
