I like Fritz software just because it has a very nice and friendly interface. The fact that Fritz might be weaker/stronger than Rybka I think it doesn't have an influence at amateur level. Of course if you're a GM or SuperGM there are a lot of considerations to take before buying one of them, but I think that even Fritz 5.32 would be more than enough for 85% of all of us.

 

That's why I don't fancy very much Rybka, at least its Aquarius version. Maybe I'm too used to Fritz interface... Laughing

Does Fritz 12 ,Shredder or Rybka work on a Mac? If not what program would you recommend.

 I downloaded shredder 7, but I can't get it to work right.
