Hi everyone, I'm looking for good books on the middle game, so far I've read My System, and parts of Understanding Pawn Play, but the latter felt a little bit above my current level, since most of my games aren't decided by an isolated d-pawn.

Anyone got a middle game-book they can recommend for a fairly new player, but that's not at extreme beginner level.

Silman's books, The amateurs mind and Reassess your chess are really good from what I have heard, I haven't read them unfortunately. One that I found pretty beginner friendly but not for total beginners was Alburt's "Chess strategy for the Tournament player" or something along those lines. It covers strategic elements really well but doesn't go into crazy depth with tons of variations that get tedious after a while.
