It is a new book, but no description is given. I want to know if the mates are challenging, origional, involve combos, are diverse, or what. I don't want to buy more of the same. Does anyone know how good it is?

That is a different book. I ordered that one and am still waiting on it.

Well, I just bought the book by Fred. It was too cheap to pass up. I think Nunn's book would have been better, but it costs $16 more.

Honestly chess is pattern recognition, the more examples the more you can remember and the better you get, so just pick up the book if you want memorize check mating patterns to a greater extent. In short I have read through the book and it is decent enough for the price, though it isn't the most original book out there.
