Thanks erik.  I couldn't get a response from H.O.S. regarding country of origin.  Now I know why.  The only product they advertise where it is made, is the boxes - appearently made in CA, USA.  Odd that they put down knock-offs made in India.

So is Drueke the only U.S. maker of commercially available wood chess pieces ?

I just learned that even the Drueke pieces are made over seas.  Only their boards, tables, and boxes are US made.  Bummer.
