Does anyone know if The Life and Games of Mikhail Tal is worth it? It's expensive (about $25) and I heaar it's not that much of an instructive book.

One of the all-time classics.  You can read it as an autobiography of one of the most beloved players of all time; as a study manual with some amazing sacrifices; or both!

Highly recommended!

Ditto.
Possibly one of the best and most readable chess books ever written, proving Tal was incomparable on so many levels.

Without a doubt one of the top ten, probably top five

books relating to chess.

Yeah, it's a classic!  One of the great ones.
