Another stunning video review by Ladzinski Productions. Whenever I hear that Strauss I think of Kubrick's 2001 space station turning slowly on its axis, waltzing its way around the Earth. Fitting for these beautifully done pieces so well-matched with your exquisite table.

Thanks Chuck, granted Strauss does make a good impression via Kubrick's 2001 space station. And thanks for the complememt on my chess table.
Official Staunton's 1849, 1851 and 1870 (the 3 musketeers) vintage replica chessmen have made a significant impact on collectors as witnessed by the many threads in these forums on their wonderful sets. This YouTube video presentation follows my previous video on Official Staunton's 1870 set: http://www.chess.com/forum/view/chess-equipment/official-stauntons-1870-chessmen-video-reviewchess-se-of-the-year. The 1851 set has it all, beautiful antiqued boxwood pieces, ebonised pieces that look like ebony, superb hand carved Knights with a remarkkable resemblance to those vintage Jaques Knights, finely turned vintage replica pieces and much more. My choice for chess set of the year was Official Staunton's 1870 set, but admittedly, many of my collector friends have chosen the 1851 set. I will follow soon with a video presention of Official Staunton's third musketeer, its 1849 set.
