I have quikly read the first pages of
'Chess Training Pocket Book: 300 Most Important Positions and Ideas' by Lev Alburt .
After doing so I began reading reviews at Amazon. But nobody exactly explains if the concept of the most important positions works and by how much elo they have gone up after studying it. Just wanted to know if it is worth the trouble of buying and studying it.
My questions:
1.Does the concept of most important positions work?
2.Do you think of them as important ?
3. After studying the book , how much has your elo risen?
