This is the book that helped me the most and has increased my confidence alot. I am reading it a second time.

I work for Amazon at the moment over here in Scotland, and trying to get them to stock it is a nightmare for a very small business like ours - they take a % for everything, which is OK if you have the capacity to sell '000's of units, but for a chess book like mine it's not worth going through them at the moment.

I know the guys above have said it, but its true, buy it! Even if you don't consider yourself an "agressive" player it has many other nuggets of wisdom reguarding many different subjects ALL players can take something from it.
Its not nesesarily a book for agressive players, that just happens to be the authors perogative, it is a book for players who want to take up a practical outlook on chess.
A great book of fun chess. A pleasure to read as it is written so that averag eplayers can understand the games. Lot so sharp fun openings and interesting stories. I highly recommend this book to all who enjoy chess--if you enjoy chess than you will enjoy this book.
I got my copy from a chess tournament here in Edinburgh and I got Andy to sign it for me and he also gave me a game online on this web site (great site) the game was all one sided but I enjoyed the lesson and he is a nice guy too

I just finished reading my copy and I have to say that this is easily the best book i've read in a long while. It offers good practial advice on a way of playing chess that is both fun and efficient, what more can we want from a book?
