My phone (a Samsung c225) from T-Mobile has a chess game on it that I am pretty sure was not designed by someone that knows the game. First off, the board is wrong: it neglects the "light on right" rule. Second, the computer is horrrrrrrrrrrrible. It "thinks" and then plays some of the worst chess I have ever seen. My favorite opening against Mobile Chess:

yeah, that opening was against "hard"... it's awful... although, in the vein of portable chess games, chessmaster is going to have a version available for nintendo ds soon

i was bored at a bus stop and played this game again and i realized you can scholar's mate the computer on easy every time.

On the 3rd move, there is a descriptive notation move that I don't understand: "WTF", but I understand that "?!" means dubious move.

i heard it was september... but all the places i've seen that offer pre-ordering are saying it wont ship until october... so, still waiting to see
