I have the first edition of How to Defend in Chess and I like it quite a lot.

If you are a fan of Lasker and/or Petrosian then this is a book for you.  It has ten games by each of them that showcase very dynamic defensive struggles...

Go to amazon and look up the user reviews of every book mentioned here as well as "The Art of Defense In Chess" by GM Soltis.

You can also just type the name of any book recommended to you into a search engine followed by the words "....ratings reviews"

I THINK NOT - who else besides you says Dr Lasker is underrated?
