Hmm, I wonder where I could get a tube to hold my vinyl chess boards.  The boards are 20" and I have a small one that's 12''.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  How do you store your vinyl boards?  I need like a poster tube or something...

Or you could go to the hardware store and get a length of PVC pipe cut to size. I'm sure you could get rubber or plastic caps for the ends, too. Drill a couple holes in each end, run a heavy cord through, and voila! Instant carrying/storage case for your vinyl boards.

I have a gorgeous light weight and strong aluminum tube with a screw on cap with retaining chain made for a disassembled fishing rod.  $5 at used store.  Probably more like 15 new.
