Vynas -- what's move in that diagram. Perhaps White needs to take some countermeasure there against Black's Bxh3?! which is worrying but I don't think it's sound -- it's unclear to me. I can't find anything better to do than Nxe6. What was Ponomariov's move?

Yep, you were right , as given black had plans about 1. ...Bxh3 2.gxh3 Qxh3 with an attack or perpetual.

The move was Rc3 stopping this plans and doubling on the c-file.
