I am requesting a mentor who can give me the skills I need to get my long game to 1400. Currently my long game is at 1150, Quick, 1300, Blitz 1100.

If you simply do about 20-30 minutes of tactics puzzles every day within a few months you should be there..

...or buy a copy of 1001 Brilliant Chess Sacrifices and Combinations, by Fred Reinfeld...and 1001 Ways To Checkmate, by Reinfeld.

The tactics training has helped me but I need better strategy.  I have found doing tactics puzzles very helpful, however, a mentor can model his/her thought process for you where tactics training puzzles cannot.  I think that the Chess Mentor section of chess.com is the most helpful.  When I have more time I'm going to anti up and subscribe.
