Excluding the chess mentor courses specifically for tactics or positional training, I am wondering about the type courses where you must find the best move in a particular situation when there are several possibilities. Chess Mentor gives the appropriate answer from the authors opinion. Are they more positional or tactical responses? I mean given a particular position, Petrosian and Tal would probably decide on different moves. I am just not that good at determining a positional style vs. tactical style chess player, and I was curious what others thought.

a good question certainly! clearly, as with books, authors have different opinions and playing styles. i just know they are all much much much better than my opinions :)
