Positional pawn sacrifices would be nice.
are you able to see this page, C_P:
it shows you the recently published courses, and the average rating of the lessons in those courses.
Appreciate it. :)
thank you for this really fun learning tool. i think it could do with more of a balance between attack strategies, defensive strategies (under threat of mate), and draw and stalemate strategies.
The Art of Cat and mouse! (A very nice endgame technique)
Jamalov i agree in general defense is not taught enough (much at all!). we are aware and going to try to balance that out a bit more over time.
I personally believe that openings can easily be studied out of chess mentor- however the thought process is easier to learn through that. Simple openings do not need much explaining, but complex openings like the dragon could use a few courses- I would love to see one regarding the Bc4 yugoslav attack, the classical yugoslav, the levenfish, and the yugoslav modern 0-0-0. Other than that, some high level endgame courses would be well appreciated I am sure.

Good bishop Vs Bad Bishop
How about a course on defence?
I would very much like to see a third course in the series The Amazing Combinations of Mikhail Tal by D. Bojkov, where the third course is at the same level as the second course. More generally, I'd like there to be more courses on advaced tactics.

It's Not about Chess!!
Really really really really dumb.
afeter some time playing chess how exchange between king and rook?????????? please tell me.
I dream of a lessons of strategies, which exercises (from the simplest to the most difficult) would include the first use of positional advantage and then learned how to work out.
Love the Chess Mentor module! BUT there is an error which cost me 19 points: In the Guico Piano opening: 1. e4, e5 2. Nf3, Nc6 3. Bc4, Bc5 4. c3, Nf6 5. d4, exd4 6. cxd4, Bb4ch 7. Nc3, Nxe4 8. 0-0, Nxc3 9. bxc3, Bxc3 10. Qb3, Bxa1 the module gives 11. Bg5 as the best move, giving 11...Ne7 as the only reply. Instead, black can play 11...Nxd4 attacking white's queen and knight (f3). Best play would continue 12. Bxd8 (if 12. Nxd4 then Qxg5), Nxb3 13. Bxb3, Bf6 14. Bxc7 and although white is still better there is no checkmate, no forced win.
I tried the demo-course and was stund - that piece seems to be an actual mistake. It's like the worst possible development and if I'm wrong there is no explanation of what comes next anyway.
I solved it, and it was easy. Go back, and try it again.
Anyone out there have any suggestions for topics for future Chess Mentor courses?
Whatever the new course is, please make them come faster! Right now they are coming at a rate of once a month. Please make them like articles, where they come at one a day or faster.
How about a making an article on how we should prepare for tournaments?ty
