What the heck is it??  The Game Explorer calls it the Rat Defense(?).  All I know is, I can't figure out how to play against it.  I'm not the greatest player; I'd be grateful for a little help.

Look up the Pirc Defence, it's the same basic opening, just a few moves further along. It's not too bad to play against, just confusing.
