    Wow, that Spassky Karpov game was one hell of a fight.  24.h3 is a mysterious move, some one's going to have to explain that one to me.

    And to think white survived that N vs R endgame... are you kidding me?  And then not only does he survive he wins?!  I guess the motto "never resign" came in handy for this game.

    That game was stunning. One of the best-played wins I've ever seen -- the accuracy with which he looked ahead and saw how the N would control every critical path for the R is stunning.

    Well, I knew a guy who was a KG fan and he would play 2.f4 whatever the opponent played ! (1. ...e5, 1...c5, 1...e6, 1. ...c6...)
