You're doing something wrong, there's no way black is winning 44% of the time in such high level games. chess.com's game explorer has it as d4 wins 38.9%, draws 34.1%, and loses 27%. It has c4 as winning 38.8%, drawing 35%, and losing 26.2%. Those numbers might not be right, but scoring 73% is more accurate than scoring only 56%.
Your percentages of 38.9 wins and 34.1 draws comes to 55.95%. Many databases will simply round it to 56% and show 56% on their charts. The way they arrive at the 56% is (34.1 divided by 2) plus 38.9. Do the calculations and it comes to 55.95%. The 56% is shown in database charts, it's not something I'm doing. That is their percentage, not mine, I just know how they arrive at it. 34.1 draws is divided by 2 because a draw counts half as much as a win does, then add that result to the win percentage.
No lackscreativity you just don't understand what scores means. And nor does the troll NM. It's an accepted term linked to elo formulae. d4 winning 38.9% and drawing 34.1% means white is scoring 56% . You get a point for your wins and half a point for draws.
