Aggressive Response to the Scotch

I was just wondering could anyone recommend to me a very aggressive/sharp response to the Scotch. I dont really enjoy playing against it as Black. So I would like something that would act as a little bit of a surprise.

Yeah don't play e5 anymore, play the french or alkehines defense

How about the Qh4 line.  I think that's pretty aggressive, sound (I think?), and almost nobody plays it.

    You could try Steinitz's 4.Qh4

This is a bit like someone saying the QGD is a bit too wild for them, and so you suggest the Najdorf.

Not a fan of the 4...Qh4 lines.  I think that white has all of the fun in these lines.  Might I suggest...

In either variation I I don't think that black has anything to complain about.  Sharp and tactical?  I don't know about all of that, but you get an open position and a simple plan of development.

There are also a lot of options for black that stem from nf6.

This line is very aggressive and I'd bet alot of people playing the Scotch have no clue that the right move is 10. a3. Enjoy.

Played that line a few times, it's my favourite.

Although, to be fair, 10.Bb2 is ok too.

I suppose white can avoid the ...Bc5 line by playing the Scotch via 1e4 e5 2Nf3 Nc6 3 Nc3 Nf6 then 4 d4, BUT Black can then play the Three Knights with 3...Bb4

It's not really a scotch then though is it.  It's a scotch 4 knights game.

When I play the scotch I try to force a marolcy blind set up with my e4 and c4 pawn out in front. ( only if black allows it)

Scotch Four Knights transposes to the main line....In any case from Black's point of view, after 1e4 e5 2Nf3 Nc6 , he doesn't know whether White will play Nc3, d4, Bb5 or Bc4 etc. IF Black had intended/intends Bc5 in the line earlier given, he could have found himself "tricked" by A Four Knights move order, and so having to have two lines "booked up" for in his 1e4 e5 repertoire.

    (By Analogy White seems to be playing Nc3 a lot in the open Sicilian,AFTER Nf3 but BEFORE d4 eg 1 e4 c5 Nf3 e6 3 Nc3 a6 4 d4)

What happens when black plays Nf6 after 6. Be2?
