You may know how to scholar's mate somebody this way...
But you can also do it this way...
So you see, there are two ways to do Scholars mate.
P.S. These games were unrated.
I mean scholars mate, not shcolars
Wouldn't you need to be playing someone very novice-ish to pull this off, though? Perhaps this thread is just for fun...
There are many ways to do the Scholar's Mate, and none of them is forced. In example 1, 2... Nf6, 2... Nc6, or 2... d6 are better. In example 2, 3... Nc6 is probably the best move. It transposes into the Italian game.
Gee what move can i make so that his queen can take the f-pawn with mate?
What the hell?? all the moves from white were so... stupid...
And the mate makes no sense.. most of the players knows that when the queen is attacking the f pawn with a bishop.. the other player is looking for mate.. so I don't get why is this a logical move..
Have a happy 2009.
Another way of Shcolar's Mate
anothar wey too spel incorectly
yeah sure !
l
Don't be proud because you scholars mated somebody. If they know what they are doing, they will crush you.
There is no difference except for opponent moves difference
Your playing dummies lol. These are so obvious.
i agree with rich
This is for novices
Chess would be much more convenient if we just scholar-mated each other. We could finish tournaments in about an hour and everyone could just go home.
goldendog, that wont happen
naw, Scholar's Mate is the future of chess. GMs won't be expeccting it and will get mated in 4 moves. The chess community will be delighted. Then everyone will be doing the move the prawn quen and bishp for the classy mate.
This thread leads the way.
Plain Stupid and Retarded
Someday, maybe tomorrow or next week, but also maybe tomorrow, Kasparov and Karpov will be playing, and one of them will mate with the Scholar's just like I said before, and he will grin slightly, then the other will gradually realize that he has been Scholar-mated, and he will smile, bigger and bigger, then both will laugh, and then they will high-five each other and laugh some more and pobably hug each other. The crowd will join in all cheers and smiles because they fully know how the GMs play, and now they can do it too.
Everyone's happy. Everyone wins.
