Hi everyone.
If interested, here is a link for a video I've created which discusses some basic opening ideas which you might find to be helpful to your own game.

ok thanks chessnetwork
Great video - thank you.
Connected knights seems to have been killing me in the vs computer games I play - I always catch it too late but now that I saw it on your video it makes a lot more sense to me. Been reading a lot, losing to the computer a lot, but I guess it takes a video between the eyes to make such a seemingly simple thing real. Been playing for 9 days now - that's it - so your offering is fantastic for me.
Thanks for posting.
nice video ty jerry :) do you have something else i can learn?
You're welcome. =)
Thanks. I do have other videos on my youtube channel that you might find to be helpful.
Thanks. Glad to hear that it's been of assistance to your own play. =)
I really appreciate the video. I have watched your quick games online and subscribed to your youtube channel. It's be a pleasure, I wish you were available to mentor! :P
Nice to know that it's appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to relay those very words. =)
good job on the vid.but the pieces shure arent very aggressive. but. you made your point. keep posting.
Thank you for the compliment and feedback. =)
cool video!
Thanks! =)
It acually helped me alot because usually i bring my queen out first and sometimes get it captured....
Alright! Good to hear that it has helped you then. =)
Thanks. I plan to also share this with some (even lower rated than me) players I am tutoring
You're welcome. Great to hear you're sharing. =)
Your way of explaining ideas is most helpful. I had already used several of your videos on youtube. I just found the "checkmate puzzles" one, yess.
By the way, that doom-filled intro song in some of your video is awesome. And using moonlight sonata in the puzzles video... both my favourite song in terms of chords/keys and also my favourite song to play chess to. Classy choice, sir.
Thanks.
