Guys, what happened?? The parham thread was removed (not just locked but completely removed), and Gavinator was banned. What did I miss????

It's not a dictatorship. Gav was a terrible troll who had no regard for reason, saying terrible things about others on this website.  Chess.com was very patient to put up with him and his antics.  He should have done his Parham discussions with more tact.  He would have been able to create a group around the Parham.  Instead, he treated people like they were idiots.  

I applaud chess.com for removing those who have no regard for respectful discussion.  Thank you chess.com!

no because  With   Bc4  preventing ....d5 its harder for black to equalize

 3....d5 has been known as the equalizing move for a long time
