I think (in my very limited way of seeing things) 2. Bc4 e6 would better. Then when he brings his queen out after some time, Qh5, your response would be Nf6. If he threatens you with exd5, then Ne5 would be my response which threatens the bishop on c4 and controls a fair amount of squares. (Consider that my live chess ranking is a very low 900, and that my online chess ranking isn't much higher. But this would be my opinion.)
4...e6 looks is fine. In the line you gave White is winning.
Chess theory says that 2. Bc4 is a very poor move for white.
Best response is 2... e6, blunting the bishop's diagonal and eventually winning a tempo when you play d5 and the bishop must move again.
The issue with 2...e6 is that after 3.Nf3 and 4.d4 White may have wrong-footed Black into unfamiliar territory.
Nf3 and d4 is the mainline of any open sicilian, so if you choose to play the sicilian you care not supposed to be surprised by those moves at all. Black has easy development with Nc6, Qc7, a6 and b5 and going for a Taimanov/Kann structure. If black doesnt want to study this he can just play simply 2...d6 and go for his usual Dragon/Najdorf/Classical sicilian setup...
Of course. I am only saying that Black should be careful about move orders.
Move orders can be the difference between winning and losing.
One way the order of moves can mean the importance of winning and losing.
The right way.
That was probably the most obvious example anybody could come up with.
