i have read a book on it

the main line is a stange reply in the queen's gambit (instead of e6 or c6) you play Nc6

i think it is a move for those attacking players out there

The chigorin proper is "1.d4 d5 2. c4 Nc6" but can be reached by other means (such as replacing c4 with Nf3). Its been scorned by many because in black's best tries both black bishops get traded for knights and the game opens up. However, black does get play and is not considered "unsound"(just risky). I say its a good choice for those looking for something knew against the queen pawn opening.

i agree bt ther are a few ver tricky lines tht have 2 be wathed out 4

it is an ideal opening to play at a low level tornament because white has 2 play very precisely in the opening because if he dsnt he will come out worse thn black

No fun? it is one of the most combative responses to the queen's gambit...

You see it all there: two bishops vs center and activity, fractured pawn positions and how they relate to different positions, when weaknesses are hard to exploit. It's a real struggle.
