From my understanding, Ruy Lopez and the Sicilian have the most theory.

i would definetly say something like the sicilian najdorf in terms of theory.

However if your talking about complexities in the opening itself then the Traxler and the Muzio have to go down there.

i cant remeber the name... it is a Queen's Gambit, Black plays h6 & g5 and white plays Nxg5

I think the Sicilian Defence- Najdorf, English Attack is the MOST complex Opening.
