I believe Chess Opening Variations will soon be entering the educational system at both the GCSE and A-Level tiers in the U.K., however I cannot speak for across the pond!

Someday, they'll have calculating machines which can sort thru hundreds, heck even thousands of games in less than 30 minutes and find games by the number of moves in them and the opening and all sorts of catagorizable data... sort of a data bank, or base... we could call them... uh, databases! Someday! Until then we'll just have to write out these games this way... long hand, with our feather pens and india ink... Well, at least we have whale-oil to light our lanterns in the night!
