Downloading Games

I'm not competely sure if this is the right forum, but it's the best I could think of.

I'm trying to download games to practice and study the openings I play via scid's Opening Trainer. Unfortunately, downloading the games (even going a page at a time) takes/will take an extremely long time for some of the openings I want to study. Does anybody know of a way to download the games in bulk? (preferably from this site, although somewhere else would be fine, so long as the "somewhere else" is free)

chessgames.com allows you to download games either individually or by groups.

I haven't poked my nose into the Pitt site for many years, but it does have some game collections grouped by opening (in pgn, and other formats).

Unfortunately, chessgames.com is requiring premium membership for the downloads.

And goldendog, the Pitt site had two of the other variations, it didn't have the rest of them unfortunately (looking for Italian game, found 2 Knights and Giuco)

TWIC gives the games free, at least as far back as their archives go - a number of years.  Fortunately, it is up to the minute, so for openings training the latest games are always there, and all major tournaments including opens are included.
