Facing the phildor defence, variation 3... Bg4??

I've had to face this variation twice on live chess in just a few minutes.

I'll show you the refutation, it's quite simple to win this games.

Also seen in one of the most famous morphy games...Morphy vs Duke Karl/Count Isouard 1858. Chessgames.com calls it "a night at the opera"

Best for White is the simple 4 Bc4 with a great attacking game.

In your line, Black should play 11 ... Bd4, blocking the d-file.  If 12 Ne2 Nc5, or 12 Bxd4 exd4  13 Ne2 Nc5
