What's your favorite opening?

I like to move the pawn in front of my king, but I sometimes I move my knight.

I enjoy a lot of openings.  I like positional openings like the Caro-Kann, French and the QGD.  I have no greater satisfaction than squeezing my opponent to death.

WEll the ones i notice are the caro-kann, some dragon openings, and well my own!

When i mean my own i mean try to make up your own opening some game, i have 2 for black but dont have one for white! One of the baclk is a ast attacking one and the other is peir defense they both work , well most of the time! Other then making your own just go onto google and put in chess openings and find one that really works for you, k, cause everyone has a special opening for white and black, well yeah good luck trying to find your openings!

I happen to be quite fond of the Jerome Gambit, 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Bc5 4.Bxf7+ Kxf7 5.Nxe5+.

It's not any kind of good opening, and it has lots of refutations. It's mostly for fun, casual, blitz games -- or giving odds to a weaker player.

It's history is fascinating, and every once in a while it produces some excitement.

Caro kann and ponziani

I find the Italian game good for white but I like the Sicilian for black.

I'm partial to the Queen's Pawn opening.

Veresov, Trompowsky, Pirc, KID

The King's Gambit, Danish Gambit, and Fegatello as white, and the Latvian Gambit, Franco-Hiva Gambit, and Icelandic and Englund Gambits as Black!

E4 with white. Sicilian Najdorf, Modern Benoni, Nimzo Indian with black.

Man, I seem to do anything and everything to keep from playing 1.e4.  Listen I just don't seem to like the powerful e4.  Like Avengier, I like my own.  But try use something not so booked up and common, you may stun your rivals.

i sometimes do the double knite defence if i am white if i am black i also move the pawn infront of my king

As white I usually go e4, Nc3, d4. As black it depends on what they do.

kings gambit or spanish, depending on my mood, as black i try to run along with the flow with 1...-e5 against e4 and play against what my opponent lands on me.
