on a whim, I changed it to 8, that way it is a much more cloudy game, lol.

But, I plan on getting my King out by move 3 or 4 depending on my opponent. probably just play the tried and true Open Bongcloud.

Why not make it 2nd rank by move 4 and 3rd rank by move 6? That is the true spirit of the bongcloud, as Moskalenko might say. I'm gonna be really mad if I play somebody who plays a normal opening until move 7 and then inches their king forward one square. That is definitely not the true spirit of the bongcloud.

it is in there, Read the OP carefully, I said that you must use your King durring the Entire Match.

No dued, it's not in there already. The first rule says:

1. A standard Bongcloud Opening must be used, see Conquistador's Bongcloud Opening Book for a list, or one must have his/her King developed by move 8.

If you mean rule 2 or some other rule to forbid playing a normal opening until move 7 and then cowardly moving the king up for the first time, why not just be explicit? Saying "Make it noticeable that your goal is to get your King to the other side, not just march him accross in an endgame, use him durring the entire match" is so vague that some cowards will interpret it as not forbidding non-bongcloud play, as long as they ever so slowly move the king up once every 7 or 8 moves or so.

We want true spirit of the bongcloud games, where the kings get right into the action and lead the charge.

 Why? Surely someone stupid enough to not use their king would just lose. It's not like you have to be worried about checkmate so the king needs to be used aggressively.

Rules

2. Please move your King often enough so that it is clear that your intention is to make it to the other side.

3. Post finnished Games Here.

4. Be good sports, no cheeting, don't use Pocketcloud 2.0bc, Kingspeak, or other Bongcloud engines.

5. The pairs will play a 2 game match, if tied, then there will be a tiebreak, switching colors until the tie is broken

6. each person in a pair will play a game as white and black

7. Lenny Bongcloud is technicaly the champion, but he is just like Morphy, he retired while on top, allowing us to host this.

8. Checkmate is a LOSS for the Checkmating player.

9. Most important Rule, The games will be unrated. And, The First player to get his/her King to the Other side first wins.
