I have been experimenting with this opening 1.e4 ...e6 2.d4 ...d6 as black and been enjoying some success with it. I was wondering what the name of this variation is and maybe if anyone knew anything about it.

It's the Lengfellner system. I guess the idea is to go into a Hippo defense since both bishops are locked in, but I'm not really familiar with this opening.
