sadly as you move up the rating ladder, this becomes less and less common.... That is why I switched to d4 instead of Ng5.
This has long been a favourite of mine, got it from a player from another site, it offers several queen side destroying variations
8...Nd4 is the correct move, as in the Fritz which I will sometimes play. I'll post a diagram.
Fried Liver is good for you - I know that.
But at chess.com, only 1 in 20 opponents will play 2 knights defense and let you go into it. You should have Evans Gambit as a fallback which you can almost always force, just by moving b4, because the black bishop will go down and take that pawn even if still on their home rank.
This is how I used to defend it [now I'm Sicilian]:
