Good And Bad Bishops In Fianchettoed Openings

Does anyone know of good material on understanding the relationships between the pawn structures and good/bad bishops in fianchettoed openings ?

I feel I really fail in this area and get trounced in these types of games. This seems much simpler in more traditional openings where the wing pawns aren't moved. Any help would be appreciated.

I guess there is no pattern to how the pawn centers are correctly established as it pertains to the fianchettoed bishop ? Or perhaps one has to pay a master to be shown this, or I would have get started reading a lot of books on the fianchettoed openings...Frown
