Heya, I just played a game using the Queen's Gambit Refused: Albin Countergambit opening. I do not know the theory behind it, nor have been thinking about using it for the future, for some reason I just played it. It turned out well, but what if he had taken the pawn instead?

Here is a game I played using that opening, which turned out pretty well. But I would have no idea what to do if he had taken either of the pawns.

It worked out pretty well because Black responded to e3 incorrectly. 3.e3 is a sideline but perfectly playable. The main line albin is 3.dxe5. Here are some lines.

Someone may be willing to expand the lines. Btw, your game is ugly for an albin, sorry!

d4 seems pretty weird but I guess that is because I don't know the theory behind it. (I was the one playing black, by the way...) @ ICWizard, I think I prefer the position of white in that game but I guess that is how I should play as black next time I'm doing an albin...
