u can never compare him to kasparov. u said "at least not yet"... but at age 22 kasparov was WC. they are incomparable. although yes i will say he is in the top 10 and an awesome player, but there are many of those, but the names you here most often are the chess giants
Lol, the KG does lose for white, but in light of the Parham instantly winning, I choose the Sicilian. There is the Grand Prix Attack, which is the equivilant of KG, but no equivilant to the Parham.
KG might not be a popular choice among the elite players but if you lose with it at this rating its not the openings fault. Its an fun opening to play and easy to get into as soon as someone plays 1. ...e5 I havent played chess for long but it feels like there is a advantage right away as few are prepared for the KG just the Morra Gambit in 1. ...c5
overall, the kg is still quite playable for White.
those falkbeer lines have been discredited as of late. so what then? main line Kieseritsky?
They banned whatupyodog because he was cussing out the general chess.com population, and closed the thread for the same reason.
Is the Fischer Defence one of the better defences for black against Kings Gambit? Theoreticly i mean then. Kings Gambit has been seen a few times at the highest level lately also. Diden´t Nakamura play a Muzio Gambit? What else has been played among the top GMs the few times they have played it?
^ we've said that quite a few times.
We still need to say it more so he gets the point.
Yeah, apparently chess.com just bans players that promote new ideas. They banned whatupyodog, twice, because he was a high rated parham user, and also closed the parham thread... I'm a 1400 so as long as I keep my rating low they'll probably not ban me.
So, watch out till they find out that you and whatup are the same person, or just two friends who were bored, and got in here to spam the site with nonsense.

Of course the shock value of 2. Qh5 is much
less in a classical tournament game than in a
blitz game. One cannot expect wonders from a
surprise second move.
Nakamura got what he could have expected: an
equal position with only a slight pull. He lost
the game not because of the opening, but because he didn't want to resign himself
to a dull draw.

22. Nf4•e2 A sign of things to come. White
could have forced a draw here easily, but he
wants to keep some play in the position.
Further in the game he disdained equality
again, until his position deteriorated into a loss.
I also haven't dropped an f-bomb on this site, whatup only edited my quote, I think the site needs to get rid of this feature.
Then why is it a quote? Because I can do this ********
I edited the quote, I think they ment for people to post in a different color thier analasies on certain lines, but this got carried away as we can see.
no they just need to edit it so that you can't do that to other people's posts.
not specificaly, you just said they need to work on thier software...
Considering everything you've tried to say on my thread about the scotch was incorrect, I wouldn't be talking. Also, whatupyodog was rated 200 points higher than you, and we just go to the same school.
You've got massive confusion going between "wrong" and "I don't understand."
And I've seen whatup's play. He's a legit 1250 if I've ever seen one.
Someone once told me to reach 1200 you had to learn the back rank mate. If whatup ever made it to 1250, he proved that theory dead wrong. You obviously don't need to know any theory to reach 1200, not even simple patterns like this one.
He does probably know how to yo yo though.
here is a recent win I had with the KG
If you want to play aggressively, play the danish.
It is not sound, (http://www.chess.com/article/view/danish-cracker)
but it will teach you more about attacking chess than your Qh5.
